    Hello,

    I just came across you blog. I thought I would share with you what I believe is the cause of ancient destructions: the gods themselves. According to the Bible and to some ancient philosophers like Plutarch, the gods were demons, and these demons have the power to manipulate the weather, cause earthquakes, lightnings, etc… Jesus said He saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning. And the Book of Job describes how Satan is able to exercise power over nature in the manner of such thunderbolt-gods as Zeus and Baal:

    8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

    9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

    12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

    13 Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house; 14 and a messenger came to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, 15 when the Sabeans raided them and took them away—indeed they have killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

    16 While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

    17 While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels and took them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

    18 While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 19 and suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

  • I think the ancient ‘gods’ were us. I believe we are souls, spiritual, conscious beings within a physical body and we reincarnate when the body dies, so some of us would have been around in those ancient times. We would have subconscious memories of that emerging as ‘knowings’ This idea also explains why many souls who came at a later time have no memory and no interest of such a way of life and the ancient past, because they weren’t part of it.

    I think (as per the double-slit experiment) our consciousness effects matter but less so today than in our ancient past when the system was ‘new’. Back then, when the planets were aligned differently, (probably similar to David Talbott’s model) we lived within a different (strength, stability and frequency) electro-magnetic field which would have had huge effects on matter, which would include our bodies and especially our brain. Matter would have been less gross and therefore much more easy to effect. Matter would have been lighter, more malleable, (it probably even ‘glowed’) much easier to interact with. Laws of thermodynamics states that energy within a closed system entropies over time and can only be reordered by something (or someone) outside of the closed system. (i think that’s how it goes) Put another way, everything goes from new to old not the other way around.
